This fall has flown by! Seems like we are always busy—but we are having fun and so are the kids!
Halloween was a little rough because Jonah got a stomach bug and was not able to go trick-or-treating. He handled it surprisingly well and Ella collected plenty of candy to share.
Andrew and I went to Savannah for a weekend without the kids (THANKS MARTIE AND LT!!! aka Grammie and Pop). We had a wonderful time exploring the city, eating out, sleeping in, going on a segway tour, and even sneaking in a quick visit to Tybee Island Lighthouse. We had fun, the kids did great at home, and Grammie and Pop survived another weekend with the kids and then returned to retired-life!
We hosted our 6th annual neighborhood Smores Making Party. It rained all day leading up to the party, but cleared up enough to have a great time.
It was our turn for dinner party and we had a dance/dinner party. The kids are now old enough and trustworthy enough to play upstairs while the grownups eat. Yeah!
The Y Princesses have been busy this year with the fall outing. They held the torches for the 1st year procession. Ella loved it!
We had a nice quiet Thanksgiving with my mom, dad, and brother. Some friends joined us in the evening. Great day.
Thanksgiving at Aunt Pat’s and Uncle Frank’s was wonderful and crazy as always. It is so nice to see so many family members on one day.
We got our Christmas tree up and decorated right before I had to really buckle down and finish the semester. Now, all my grades are in and the students are gone until the second week in January… so it is time to focus on family and Christmas!
