Week 6

Well, it has been another week in Ella's life, week 6 if you can believe it, and she has been introduced to the ocean. Sarah and I made our yearly journey to the OuterBanks of NC, to spend time with her family and friends and neighbors. We had a blast. One night, when it cooled off, we got Ella All dressed out in her bathing suit and took her down to the water. She seemed to like it. When we set her feet in the sand, her cute little toes curled up as if to grip the sand. I say that even though her feet are big like mine, they are definitely Egan feet for their dexterity. Ella got to finally meet her Aunt Leah and Unkie Justin. KT Rivers and Bruce drove down from Duck to meet her. Sheilah's mother, the now Great Grandma Shields, and Cousin Charlotte also came down to visit us for a little while. With all these people stopping in, and the already huge number of relatives and friends and neighbors at the beach, I do not think that Ella touched the ground all week. She was always being held by someone, which she really enjoyed. We are really looking forward to seeing my Mom and Keith next week, and then the following weekend is her baptism. So we have a lot going on, with plenty of photo ops. I hope you all are doing well.
