July has been busy and exciting.
Katie came for a great visit. We took the kids down to the beach for the day and enjoyed some delicious hot crab dip at the Oceanic! We also enjoyed yoga, walks, and some girly bridal shopping! Ella loved having Aunt Katie here and Jonah was glad to drool all over her too.
Katie Rivers and her sweet daughter, Emily, came down for a visit. Ella calls Emily her “tiny little friend Emily” or her “tiny little sister.” The girls were very cute together! We discovered that whatever activity we picked (playground, walks, playroom, movies, eating) only made ONE of them happy at a time! I loved having Katie Rivers here for a visit—felt just like old times.
Ella went to Princess Ballet Camp for a week. In that week, the girls learned a dance, made all their props and costumes, created a back drop, “wrote” a program, and set up the chairs for the audience. I was so impressed with what they were able to accomplish!
Andrew and I enjoyed a lovely evening at the symphony while Uncle Joe took care of the little ones. They both behaved and went to bed for him—yeah!
I have been gearing back up to work. I am spending a lot of evenings working or meeting with students or teachers while Andrew has his time with the kids.
We are getting ready to go to the Outer Banks for our yearly vacation with the Egan family.
We hope you are all doing well!
Sarah, Andrew, Ella, and Jonah Peter
