In our family, even birthdays are for friend parties and odd birthdays are for family. Ella picked all the activities and food for our family birthday celebration. We started with pancakes, bacon, and eggs with the whole family. Then, Ella, Jonah and Sarah went to the Y and Ella wore her “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY” Ribbon. We went to the Y Sprayground (Andrew and I took here there on her 1st birthday too!

Andrew worked from home so that he could take his lunch break with us and we had a taco feast. Ella loves tacos! She registered her new Webkinz bear and played on the computer. Then we played Princess Monopoly and Uno Attack. She rode her brand new two-wheel bike with kickstand and NO training wheels. Pizza for dinner and cupcakes for dessert rounded out the day of Ella celebration. Then she went to vacation bible school. It was full and fun day. She claims that she is no longer a kid but in fact “a little grownupish person now.”

Hope everyone is well. We are hoping that the rest of the summer is as good as the first half!
