Ella and I met my mother (aka Nana) in Disney World for an amazing and magical time. Nana was at a conference so we all met in Orlando before the conference and enjoyed a fantastic day at the Magic Kingdom including a breakfast in Cinderella’s castle. We rode lots of rides and Nana kicked everyone’s butt on the Buzz Lightyear ride! Everything was perfect including the nighttime parade and fireworks. We were all exhausted by the end of the night but it was wonderful. Ella and I enjoyed a day at Animal Kingdom and a short day at MGM. Ella loved the shows and meeting the characters. We were lucky enough to get VIP seats to Finding Nemo and then again for Beauty and the Beast. We had a great time at Coronado Springs and the pool was great. Nana and I enjoyed the water slide, but Ella was overwhelmed by it! Ella did great on her first plane ride. She slept most of the way to Orlando and even with delays and a little bumpy ride on the way home, she was a trooper. It was a great trip and hopefully something Ella will remember for a long time.

Andrew and Jonah did not get to go to Disney with us. We decided that dragging a 1 ˝ year old (who still naps twice a day) around in June did not seem like a smart idea. They went to visit with Grandpa Warren and Grandma Connie and then hung out together at home. Although we missed them and Andrew hated missing Ella’s first airplane ride, we know it was for the best. When Jonah is older, we will all go back!

We hope that summer is treating you as well as it is treating us!
Sarah, Andrew, Ella, and Jonah
