In April and May, we picked lots of strawberries. Jonah is a great strawberry picker. He is very careful and is pretty patient.

Ella and Andrew had a great Spring Outing weekend at Camp Seafarer.

The kids have been playing outside as the days get longer and warmer. We had our first driveway party of the year and it is great to have time with our wonderful neighbors.

Ella was in her ballet recital in mid-May. She danced in two numbers and then the finale. She did a great job. We all got to join her on stage for the finale!

Ella received first communion on Mother’s Day. We loved having Nana, Papa, Grandpa Warren, Grandma Connie, Grammie, Pop, and Uncle Joe with us. We had a brunch reception and then went to the new NC Museum of Art that afternoon. Lovely day.

Our hawks have hatched three babies this year. They are growing quickly and making lots of noise.

Ella is just about to finish 2nd grade. She is looking forward to summer. Jonah is really changing! He is practicing his writing and starting to do a little pre-reading. He can do so much for himself now!
