Hello all,

The end of April was quite hectic as I finished up my semester. I am officially done with teaching for the summer and although I will be working on some research, special projects, and getting ready for the fall, my main focus this summer is to spend lots of quality time with Ella and Jonah.

To celebrate the end of my semester and Mother’s Day, we went to Wilmington to visit with Grandpa Warren and Grandma Connie. We had a fantastic weekend! We loved watching the bluebird family on the back porch, we had lots of beach time, ate lots of great food, enjoyed the aquarium, and had a great visit. Ella could not be any happier than when she is on the beach. Jonah is a little hesitant about the cold water. He loves to play in the sand and will stare out at the water and the surfers, but he is not happy when his little toes get too cold! Even when he was a newborn, he never liked being cold!

Jonah is 100% a walker now. He is trying to jump and will attempt to spin when Ella is dancing. He is saying some more words and definitely gets his point across!

Ella is working hard at tap and ballet. Her recital is next month and she practices all the time. She is reading more words and is getting better at writing and drawing.

She will be finishing Pre-K this month and will start at Farmington Woods Magnet School in August. Hard to believe that she will be a Kindergartener!

Hope all is well with you all!
Sarah, Andrew, Ella and Jonah
