In March, we went to Alexandria for Easter. We got to visit with lots of Egan family. Despite the chilly weather, we enjoyed taking the kids on the metro and into some of the monuments and national parks in DC. We only got to see Katie, Bruce, and Emily for a short time—next time will be longer! After a great Easter dinner at Aunt Peggy’s we returned home and we have been keeping busy. Ella had 10 days off for spring break and we went to the museum and the zoo and the aquarium (we also enjoyed lots of “lazy” mornings and many craft projects and playtime outside). We also visited with Grandpa and Grandma Warren and Wendy and Robert. In April, we celebrated Andrew’s birthday by going INDOOR SKYDIVING! It was wild! As soon as the kids are both old enough we are definitely taking them too!

Sarah’s semester ends very soon and she is looking forward to a short break from work and then she will be working on a grant project this summer. Jonah is trying to potty train and is doing really well. He is a great two year old even though he does have his “moments.” Ella is doing great in school. We just had our first Student-Lead conference. She presented her portfolio and her writing journal and discussed the changes that she has made since starting kindergarten! WOW! I am very pleased with her school.

Hope you are all doing well!
Sarah, Andrew, Ella/Eleanor, and Jonah Peter
