Hello all,

Ella’s big news is that she lost her first tooth! It fell out in the car while she was eating popcorn. She did not even notice and actually swallowed it! She wrote a note to the tooth fairy explaining the situation and the tooth fairy accepted a drawing of a tooth instead of the real thing!

The other big news this month is that Jonah is finally a real “walker.” He still likes to crawl, but walks quite well on his own now.

We had a fantastic trip to Alexandria for Easter including our own “photo shot” in Mom and Dad’s living room with Dad’s lights and backdrop. We loved spending time with Leah and Justin who were in from the West Coast. And had fun with Nana, Papa, Aunt Katie and Pete too. It was also great to see Katie, Bruce and Emily. Ella and Emily do so well together. It snowed while we were there and so we had a chilly Easter, but it was a nice weekend.

We also celebrated Andrew with a SURPRISE birthday party. It was a great time—he had no idea!

We hope you are all well. My semester ends in just two short (or very long) weeks. I am looking forward to a summer off from work and getting to spend some lazy days with the kids!
