Hello all,
Jonah’s first and second snow days were quite fun. He got to touch the snow and even wanted to crawl in it—but it was way too cold for his liking. Ella, on the other hand, ran outside in her PJs and boots until we made her get a coat, hat, and gloves on. We scooped up a big bowl of snow and brought it inside for awhile until it melted. Snow and lots of chilly days have kept us inside a lot—but we have plenty of craft projects, activities, movies and books to keep us happy.
Highlights this month:
We celebrated Grandma Nellie’s birthday with lots of family. Ella loved playing with all her cousins and we enjoyed visiting with everyone.
Jodie came for a fantastic dinner out and some good “catch up” time.
Katie Rivers and Emily came for a short visit. The girls had so much fun together and I loved spending time with Katie.
We hosted Dinner Party this month with our “regular” sushi menu.
Jonah is really signing “more,” “food,” and “drink.” He is so proud of himself when he signs “more.” Ella, Andrew, and I clap and cheer for him and he just beams with delight. Jonah is feeding himself with a spoon. Although it is quite messy, he is getting better and better every day. He is cruising and trying to stand on his own. But he is still quite content to crawl. Ella is doing so well at tap and ballet. She practices her dance routines at home all the time and pretends to be the dance instructor and makes us try her “dance moves.”
