Last weekend, on January 5, we celebrated Jonah’s 2nd birthday with an ELMO themed party. We invited four little friends from our neighborhood over for lunch and cake. Jonah, Kate, Aidan, Noah, and Chet did GREAT! No one cried, no one threw up, no one had a temper tantrum.
The kids played with balloons and wore ELMO Party Hats and played with Jonah’s new toys. It was a lovely way to celebrate Jonah’s 2nd birthday.
At two, Jonah is talking more and more each day. He is still very sensitive and wants lots of snuggling and hugging and touching. He still hates being cold and wants to be bundled up. He loves Elmo, trucks, fire engines, trains, books, balls, movies, and being outside as much as possible. He loves to run around with Ella and he is still her biggest fan (and vice versa).
When you ask him how old he is, he holds up 5 fingers and says, “I’m FOUR!” When you tell him that he is actually two years old and not four (or five) he yells: “NO! Not two!” I guess that just PROVES that he is in fact a two year old. He certainly has many opinions these days.
He is a neat little kid and we look forward to watching him grow and change everyday.
Much love,
Sarah, Andrew, Ella, and Jonah
