Jonah’s Birthday Week:
Jonah did not want a big party—just his friend Chet. So we invited Chet to Hopper’s House. Jonah also invited Chet’s sister, Lauren, so Ella would have a friend.
We had a great time—laid back and easy party. Everyone had fun. Jonah transitioned into a “real” bed. He is doing great and likes to have lots of pillows and blankets. He picked Spider Man and Batman sheets.

Unfortunately, he is no longer napping at all—which makes it harder for me to get grading done during the day (argh) and makes him grumpy starting at about 5pm… I know he will get over this eventually, but this is a hard phase. On his actual birthday, we met Uncle Joe at On The Border. Jonah loves that the wait staff sings a special song for his birthday—but he refused to wear the sombrero.
To round out his birthday week, we went to a hockey game—they won! And Andrew got to ride the zamboni. FUN!
